The summer holidays go by in the blink of an eye, and before you know it, it’s almost time for the new school year. For teachers, that means one thing; you need to get organised. But don’t panic, we’ve put together a handy guide on how to get your school ready for the start of the Autumn term.

Get your school ready for the new year

School Ready Tip #1 Round up your supplies

Make a list of what you’ll need to hand for lessons. That means stationery, textbooks, paper, desk supplies, and more. However, you don’t want to have to make multiple trips to the stationery cupboard or the library for materials. This is where having the right equipment comes in. A handy book trolley or platform trolley will make light work of moving things from A to B.

School Ready Tip #2 Get school ready by organising your classroom layout

If you haven’t already, you might need to plan the layout of your classroom. Pupils may need to be a little more distanced than usual and of course, you need the classroom layout to work for you. Need extra chairs or tables? A chair sack truck or trolley, or a universal table trolley is for you. They’ll help minimise the chances of putting your back out before school starts.

School Ready Tip #3 Organise your materials

If you want to be school-ready, it’s best not to cram your materials into your classroom storage cupboard or leave them lying around. To keep your classroom safe and tidy, you need proper storage. Forget piles of textbooks and files left lying around, invest in some nesting mobile container trucks. They are easy to manoeuvre and stack on top of each other so they don’t take up precious space.

Get ready with the right equipment

Getting school ready for the new year isn’t an easy job, but it’s easier with the right equipment. Taking the time to make sure you have everything you need, exactly where you need it makes sense. You won’t have time to organise things once the school year is underway. Things will only get messier as time goes on!

Save yourself the headache and focus your energy on what you do best; inspiring the next generation! However, for more tips, advice, and interesting articles on all things trucks and trolleys, check out the rest of our blog.
